As of 1st September, Puy du Fou’s full planning application to Cherwell District Council became available.

You don’t need to be local to comment - everyone can do so - and we would like to encourage you to show your support to Puy du Fou by endorsing their application here:

Click on the ‘Comment on this application’ and describe all the benefits you see Puy du Fou bringing. This could include:

• The fact that it is bringing 2000 direct jobs and 6000 indirect jobs to the area

• The creation of a worl class, award winning destination with a unique offering not found elsewhere in the UK

• The woodland setting, with the planting of 20,000 trees, 5 miles of hedgerow and 40 acres of wildflower meadow

• The arrival of a theatrical based park which would appeal to families and groups of all ages

• Their provision of training and partnership with Bicester and Banbury college, enabling a clear career pathway for interested locals

• Whilst this is a large development, only 15% of the land will have buildings on it - no other opportunity would present such a biodiverse situation

• Their stance on being fossil fuel free and commitment to renewable energy

• The self sufficiency of their local water and drainage systems which will be self sufficient

• The creation and monitoring of new road interventions, with the remedial work paid for by a % of car parking receipts

• Their partnership with Chiltern Railways to ensure any new timetables are related to the arrival and departure times of visitors

• Their staggered opening hours which will avoid travel peaks

• Their commitment to using local suppliers

• The benefits to the local area - for every GBP1 spent in the park, another GBP 3.20 will be spent by visitors in the local economy
